I was thinking of getting a good sequencing/midi program to sequence with since the XA I have has such a small screen. I have a limited budget of abour $100-$200...any ideas? Also what do you personally use to sequence with... Fantom or sofrawre for you computer???
One day I'll be able to play what I dream
Seuqencing: PC/MAC or Fantom?

The biggest bang for your buck with that budget is Tracktion. Version 2 will be out soon, so wait and see its reviews.
If you are eligible for academic pricing, there are several good options like Cakewalk Home Studio, and some freeware stuff also.
I use Cakewalk Sonar 4PE, along with the free version of Tracktion. Since I use lots of external samples, the PC is easier for me.

Hey Dubz,
I use the Fantom's internal sequencer quite often actually. Sometimes I use another Roland product called the MC-909 to sequence. They are both failrly powerful for catching ideas. Keep playing with your sequencer, with practice you will navigate it smoothly.
