Did my first gig with the X7 last night... and I'm really pleased with how it performed. The "live play" mode is an absolute god-send in this situation... especially when the drummer says "lets play [some song we've not played for years]" and I just need to flick though the imported text file for my notes on that song call up the sounds I 'noted' and away we go!
Good reaction on the Fantom's sound from audience members, friends and members of the band. Next week is a regular gig we've been playing once every month or two for around 6-7 years, it'll be very interesting to guage the feedback there.
But, flipping 'eck.... my back is killing me today!!!

I'm loving the Live Play function too.... I was also gigging last night, and it's pretty cool to be able to just scroll down through your notes or just give the memory a little jog as you come up to the chord changes for the middle 8 that you haven't done in ages! ....love it.

Oops, I just thought.... I have a feeling some people are superstitous with the whole 'good luck' thing, so if you're one of those people, sorry I said that 
An Irish friend of mine always says 'good luck' after he ends almost all of his conversations, and it must be rubbing off on me....
I haven't been to sleep since yesterday morning, so maybe I'm just tired, and reading too much into what I'm writing!
