Using Fantomx to connect to my pc USB 2.0 Windows 2000.
Although i could use USB storage i could not use USB MIDI.
I have been strugling with this for a while now..
However after a lot of head scratching (and banging!?!)
I found a solution, unplug from my usb2.0 card and plug in to the mainboard USB 1.0 port,
Whalla! all working..
(just some info for anyone with similar)
Anyway does this mean the Fantom will not be compatable with usb 2.0?
any one else have similar experience

Fantom X USB MIDI probs
Re: Fantom X USB MIDI probs
Seem like your USB2 is not backward compatible with USB1 devices. Are you sure that USB2 device is really working well?
You may need to adjust USB2 driver settings too.
All USB2 ports are compatible with USB1 devices. Most often, it is a driver setting wrong or non working driver of USB2 gives the trouble.(often there is seperate driver for USB 2 port.)
This is host machine problem. Peripheral devices can not select USB protocol.
