Cheapest UK FXR Price?

Post by Lord of the Badgers »

Hiya,

OK so i migrated to the darkside for my main board (Mo ES) but i now have enough for step 2, the FXr.

Best I can see online is £949 at Soundslive - anyone know of cheaper UK prices?

Thanks!

Hi again

I don't know if I should wait and see what Roland bring out next.

I will never use the Sampler on the XR the loading times are to slow so its just a waste.

I hope they bring out an XR without the Sampler, or I may wait for a second hand Fantom X/XR.

1. don't put any sample RAM in (though i'd recommend the resampling with mastering effects to be honest)

2. switch off the sample autoload in utility, so it don't take long to start up

3. enjoy a damn marvellous module. sounds like you don't need keys.

you can spend all your life waiting for the next thing, only to think it's worth waiting for the next thing :)

mind you, if i'd have thought of that when I bought the Fantom S (3months later....FX announced) i wouldn't have spent so much money lately perhaps :)

Hi

The XR sure sounds like a great Module and I love the thought of the six SRX slots, I think the SRX boards sound brilliant and are good value for money.

I have 2 XV5050's and if I can get the same XV Patches /Performances loaded into the XR I'll buy one.

cheers
