Does any one know if the processing speed of the Fantom G is faster then the Fantom X?

It's pretty obvious that the Fantom G has a higher overall processing speed, but why should you care? Both have the processing speed they need to perform according to their specs. Even if it were possible to upgrade the Fantom's X processing power (CPU, DSPs etc) it wouldn't change how it performs, except perhaps in a few isolated cases like normalizing a sample perhaps which is probably done by the main CPU instead and is one of the few things you have to wait for. You wouldn't suddenly be able to use more FX or get higher polyphony or anything like that.

Arjan. Hey how r u? Honestly, I do like to process vocals on my Fantom X. I'm really comfortable with it. However, when I resample my vocals for effect processing, or normalizing, and so on. It tends to be quite slow. That's why I'm purely wonderin' how fast the processing is on the G compared to the X. Cause I can't really stand mixing songs down on the Fantom at a really slow pace.
