I was wondering if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong because I cannot seem to use the free patches or samples from this site. This is what I am doing.
1download the patch
2connect via usb (internal memory)
3 go to roland tmp audio import and drag the patch to this folder.
4disconnect and go to import audio on the fantom
5 highlight the patch and press import
6 message that I get is permission denied.
I have also tried dragging the patch to seq/song file then to song list and the patch is not showing there at all.
I would really appreciate some help

use the librarian software for the patches )

use the tmp audio import for the samples

Yes, you are using the procedure for samples. The patches that are in .MID format should be copied to /ROLAND/SEQ/SNG and then you can play these files from Song List in sequencer.
