Fantom FA 76

Post by ruach »

I want to do a protest in that forum, expressing as they walk the discurssoes on the FA76, for the that I saw at that forum, and in the whole internet almost nobody has interest in sharing ideas or even a help on the FA 76, for the fact of being a keyboard that served as protótico for FS and FX. In the internet I already saw of everything for the line XP for example, so much thing, new published sounds, banks, users' of that instrument publications, ideas, helps, until as to enter in the operating system I already saw, but the Fa76, he/she doesn't have anything, two only make up of help, the lists of discussions of the yahoo, he/she doesn't have anything, I was talking with a friend mine of Argentina and he think the same thing, I have several questionamentos to do, I already did here but I didn't obtain answers. . .

Obs. I already tried to carry the sounds of the fantom here s published, but they are not compatible, I don't get you carry them in my FA 76.

Fa-76?? THE best

Post by sambasevam »

i volunteer....:-D

ruach....dont u worry....i will help with whatever i can...i can surely understand ur frustration....

tell me what questions u got....u can do a lot with a FANTOM 76.....

see....the only differences between FA and FS are sampling and Pads....who wants them, huh???? u can use a better external sampler.....see....u even got 76 keys whereas we got only 61....WE are the ones to be worried....INTERNET is an unreliable place...people can say whatever they want there....u still got a lot of advantages...

those extra keys will be damn helpful in gigs, where u can use a lot of splits....it even has a FDD......whereas we have to settle for those expensive SMART MEDIAs.......which burn a hole in ur pocket....

so dont worry....its got a LOT of features that other synths dont have....

16 layer/split MODE

76 keys...whoa...

FAVORITE BANKS.....

high-res sequencer....and lots more to tell....

so dont get let down.....

IMHO u SHOULD be let down ONLY if u r a owner of a RS-50 or RS-70...they SUCK...not the FA-76

u can hook it up to the computer to do projects...see....u can use ur computer for sampling and loops......

and lemme tell u.....the FA-76 is one of the most SOLID synths that u can carry around without the worry of breaking anything......really they are truly beautiful....

u should continue making music and worry less about this......find a way to have fun with it....ok???i'll be there by your side to help you out...u ask the questions to me...seeya....dont worry, be happy. :-)

Hey, Ruach. I own a Fantom 76 and a Fantom X6. I use both for gigs, and I love both a lot. If you want new sounds for the 76, you can always add expansion boards, one of the easiest and best ways to add sounds. If you don't want to invest in expansion boards, you can always program your own patches.

I know that there are not many sound banks offered for the Fantom 76, but to be honest, I never thought of this as a big disadvantage; I usually program my patches, that way you get exactly what you want (if you're familiar with programming the thing). If you're not familiar with programming sounds, well, today is a good day to start.

Good luck!

Hi, Ruach. Most of my programmed patches are based on waves from the Country Expansion Board, which you don't have... Sorry...

Hola, Ruach. La mayoría de mis patches están basados en ondas sonoras de la Tarjeta de Expansión Country, la cual tú no tienes... Disculpa...

Are you asking me or Sam? I just use it to talk to my family in Mexico, and hardly ever connect, unless I know they need to talk to me.

Help

Post by Rich »

We saw your posting on the Fantom forum. We have a FA-76 and are trying to use Sonar 3 to tranfer a song via midi. We don't what to pick for new project file because the choices don't seem to match the FA-76. We pick normal and then all channels seem to record one channel. We tried midi authoring and got 16 channels but it seems that the recorded audio seems behind in tempo.

Please help us. We are trying to transfer a song for a wedding but it just doesn't sound correct.

Our email is rwatson@brick.net.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thank you.

Rich
