MAJOR PROBLEM
MAJOR PROBLEM
Hey Guys, I have ran into a major problem. I was trying to organize my memory card and can not seem to load it back. I saved all my sample wavs to my computer by taking the card out of the X7 and putting it into my card reader and transfering them to a folder. I then formatted the memory card and tried transferring all the files back to the card in the order I wanted, which it seemed to. But now when i press sample list on my X7 they don't show up and aren't available to LOAD. If I go into File Utility and then card and Roland and Sample, They are there but......
What am I doing wrong. I need these back ASAP. Please Help. Thanks Tim

Re: MAJOR PROBLEM
Also, make sure you format the memory card from the Fantom, NOT your computer. People have had problems with that in the past.

Re: MAJOR PROBLEM
I have a folder that was made in the original back up process called 'backup'. Do i It is outside of the "Roland" and "Temp" folders. Do I copy that folder to the card or put that folder in the Roland folder or what. I'm not having any luck.
Re: MAJOR PROBLEM
I pretty much figured it out and got most of the stuff back. Thanks for your help.

Re: MAJOR PROBLEM
Hi,
If there's a folder called BACKUP on the card that means that at some point you've done a system backup on the Fantom.
Put the card in the Fantom, then do the restore procdure given on p.235 of the OM.
Obviously, if you've made changes AFTER the backup ws done you'll lose them.

Re: MAJOR PROBLEM
If you attach the card to your PC can you copy the files to your PC harddrive?
Re: MAJOR PROBLEM
