Best way to put beats from fantom into pro tools?

What is the best way to take my beats ive made in fantom and put them into pro tools? can i do this with midi? i know i can sample but i dont have memory upgrade yet...and output works but the quality is lacking...help plz n thanx

Well, first of all if you have it in your head that midi transmits audio, that's a mistake. It doesn't, but midi will play a part in this.
What you do is connect your PC midi out to your fantom midi in. (I'm assuming you have all of this.) put your fantom on [MIDI SLAVE] and connect the audio outputs of the Fantom to the audio ins of your PC audio card. Record each intrument in protools on a seperate track by muting all on fantom except the one track you will be recording at that time... do this step for each instrument until you get them all in. once you get used to it and understand what you are doing a little better then you can pan each instrument, (if it's a mono sound) so that you can send four instruments at a time, but first get used to at least doing one at a time.
