Rhythm Create Screen

In RC screen, following the set up of grid, fixing the step to a certain number and set the velocity to REAL, I do not get the exact sound I play with Preview. Rhythm is definitely not the same.
It's as if the duration changes, it does not play the same durations I play.
What am I doing wrong?
