Ok i have a song coming up in church that is going to require me to cover some acoustic guitar on the keys. I think I have the playing sussed but the patches in the fantom whilst good are leaving me a little cold so can anybody help me either with mfx settings on the stock patches or help me make up a performance or direct me to a good multisample or soundfont that I could use,
Many thanks
Tristian

Tristian,
I just realised what your name means.
Have you downloaded the 1000xv patches. I think I use the 12 string patch from there. Also you can go into patch edit and use 2 guitar waves an octave apart.
Add reverb and make sure you play using lots of 5ths and spacing quickly rolled from bottom to top and a few tops to bottoms with a few singles here and there.
But remember to test your sound in mono as it is probably mono at church. I always test all my sounds at home in headphones in mono before playing live at church.

screen name.
Thankfully church runs in stereo
So your keyboard is taken out of A and B and A is panned to the left and B is panned to the right? I haven't tried this for bigger venues.

aye sounds good better than mono and it makes it easier to set up sequences and performances.
The screen name has been with me for years got drunk one night and thought I need a better screen name thought about it and bingo. I normally get a lot of negativity about it but then some people don't like the truth lol

I thought it was quite a cool name once I understood it.
how big is your church and how do you do monitors? They surely don't send you a stereo signal in the monitors?

no monitors for me but a reasonable sized old church I wind up monitoring either by ear from the pa or if I really need to hear what I am playing I use some m-audio in ear phones. They run stereo for ease
