High pass EQ

Hello group, I have a Q for you:

When I play my Midi backing files I sometimes want to cut off the bass parts of organs/pianos to avoiude too much interference with the bass and kick drum.

It would be nice if there was a Midi controller doing this but I don't think there is one. The Brightness controller 74 does the opposite thing (low pass)

I checked the MFX options and found no usable EQ that can cut the area below 80-120 Hz (only boost!).

Any ideas? I'm using the Fantom XR with specially tweaked Midi files.

Thanks

JimR

Pick the Super Filter MFX, set it to HPF, resonance to 0 and adjust the cutoff to taste.

You can change filter type for each tone in each patch.

Edit the organ patch to use a High Pass Filter, instead of the low pass. Then the filter cut off cc74 will control the high pass filter.
