And to think I missed something around here. I would have liked to have seen yada, yada, yada. By the way, I have Kenmore washer and dryer, Hotpoint dishwasher, GE refrigerator...

i have a motif 6,an EMU xl7with vintage keys and mophatt cards,an MC 909,a vp 9000,an arranger SOLTONx1.....all recorded in a VS1680!
I think fantom s 's price will be better in the future, because of the motif es and maybe the new korg;so i'm waiting to see to buy(maybe)a fantom s 88 in my studio!

Re: Who, in this forum, has other synths or sound modules?
Well...let's seee...
Roland D50 (a classic, and I got it for FREE!)
Roland MC303 (great doorstop)
Novation Nova (one of the nicest VA's out there)
Novation Bass Station Keys (real analogue oompfh)
Yamaha Cs2x (nice rompler, decent programmability)
Yamaha An1x (one of my all time favs')
Yamaha CBX-K1XG (great mini-controller and full XG set)
Yamaha DX200 (for 150 Euro, new...the best FM module, WITH filters)
Casio VL-tone (I like lo fi)
Casio SK-1 (I like lo fi)
Yamaha A4000 (THE most creative sampler, albeit with some quirks)
Elektron Machine Drum (the best 1350 Euro ever spent...this is a unique machine)
I guess, that sums it up....
Still, I'm lacking a super rompler, a workstation of sorts, a machine that could be my centre piece....currently I'm comparing the Korg Triton/Karma the Yamaha Motfs and the Fantoms....it's quite a tough nit to crack, since they all have their strengths and weaknesses....

Re: Who, in this forum, has other synths or sound modules?
I own the original Fantom, equipped with SR-JV80-02 (Orchestral), SRX-01 (Dynamic Drum Kits) (the reason of this keyboard), and SRX-03 (Studio SRX).
I can't deny, the "Studio SRX" is a good complement of this machine... But when Roland have anounced the SR-JV80 compilations, in SRX format, Roland gave me the impression that with this colections, I could write my tracks using the best that Roland made till now.
The ultimate keys is just one example!
When I get the Fantom-s-88, I'll have to sel the "Orchestral" and the "Studio SRX" boards, but after days and months of analyses, I believe that I'll loose nothing!
I'm planning to buy the "World Colection", and the "Complete Orchestra" to use instead of the boards mentioned above... The reason on buying the "World colection" is that it covers many genres of world music (for my work on jingles, for example), including the traditional and good brazilian music!
The "Complete Orchestra"... Well... There's no need to say! For me, this sounds are killer!
That's all.
