Anyone found a work around to enable the fast/slow setting on the Rotary effect to act as a latch? I'm using a non-latching pedal but it'd be nice to save having to buy another pedal.
btw i'm using a Fantom XR and a Emu Xboard 49.
Also, anyone found any good setting for hammond organ/leslie overdrive using the guitar amp sim? I've got a Voce V5+ going into my XR in performance mode using the mfx in series like: amp sim>reverb>VK Rotary.
At the moment I set the preamp to Clean twin,
pre amp volume: 90
pre amp master: 127
pre amp gain: middle
speaker type: JC-120
technically I guess you shouldn't need the speaker cab on as I think the VK Rotary has its own cab eq-d in but the amp sim can sound a bit much without the speaker sim.
Thanks for any replies.
Latching Rotary effect on XR + Organ overdrive
Fantom x and Organ simulation
I've owned a Fantom x for almost a year now, and I still don't find a way to obtain a convincing organ/leslie simulation. I have also an original hammond organ and i've put it together to the fantom x, trying to obtain the same wave form that the one of the drawbars of my organ without the leslie, wich was convincing. But when i've put the leslie effect of the fantom over that, it sounds far away from a good b3 organ. Plus, in patch mode, you can only put one effect at a time, so that you cannot have an overdrive with the leslie effect.
Does anyone have a solution for me?
