"Live Setting Play" mode recalling sound

As I am playing in "Live Setting Play", when I recall a sound, the one I was playing before do not remain. The sound cut off, even if the "remain" function is set to "ON".

Is there any ways I can play with one sound and recall another one without any break?

Does someone have any ideas?

I dont think there is any way to switch from a patch to a performance or vice versa without the sound cutting out. Maybe put the patches you need into performances, and put those as well as the pre-existing performances you need onto a PC card and just use that bank instead of live mode?

Hi, when I have to change sounds fast or part remain is required, (i.e. Medleys) I use my PADS to switch sounds in the live mode. (note you'll stay in the same performance ofcourse).

i.e. Keyboard ranges , local switches, volumes, part changes ... etc are recorded in different patterns with sys ex messages (you can see these sys ex messages in the editor sw also).

Assign these different patterns to your PADS with RPS.
Switch on RPS and use the PADS to switch sounds in your performance.

note : if you don't want to hear part1 you'll need to change the keyboard range to C0-C0 ? (the lowest anyway).

With OS2.X you can assign these songs also in the live play window. ONly issue is that RPS status is not automaticly saved but there is a workaround for that already described on this forum.
