Outer Casing....

Hi All!!!

I would like to print my name on the top right panel of my Fantom X-8. The problem is I don't know what the outer casing is made of, and I'm not sure how Roland put their markings on the Keyboard. Any ideas?

Sorry I can't help, but please post a picture if you ever end up doing it. You may want to try to contact Forat. They specialize in customizing...

Hi,
I would say that from the looks of it, the top panel is made of aluminum. Any paint used for cars should work...

Cheers,
Manuel

Definitely metallic, looks like aluminum, not magnetic - Manuel is right. May be clear anodized for a harder surface.

Whatever you do, sample the process somewhere out of sight to check the process, the quality of the look, and durability. Paint, or a paint pen (art store) may work. Also can buy press on letters. Depends on look you are after. Air brush?

Good luck.
