'Linked' levels in performance? How?

Hi,

I've recently taken delivery of a Fantom Xa and I'm learning how the performances work - however, one of the patches has me stumped in a 'how do they do that?' kinda way.

Quite simply, when I change the levels in the mixer, if I change the value for part 2, part 3 changes as well. If I try and change part 3, it won't let me. Both parts are bass sounds, and I can see the point in having them linked, but I've no idea how they've done that. I've scoured the manual, but I've obviously missed something.

If you've got an Xa, it's User01 "Bump it up" - but I'm sure it's not specific to my machine.

Change them all to MIDI Channel 1 via the Ext Control settings within a performance.
