Original Roland VS880 and Fantom X

Post by Patrick_ »

I have the original VS 8track(I bought it about ten years ago). I'm wondering if anyone else uses the VS multitrack with their Fantom, and how it integrates, and if they feel it is even necessary.

I used to have a VS-880. I think it would be an excellent match with the Fantom X. First, it has 8 tracks, which, synced with the Fantom, would give you 16 tracks of digital recording (along with 16 midi tracks). Which means you could create projects with 32 musical parts and keep it all in the digital domain. The VS-880 also has great effects.

i have a vs1880 with fantom s. works great. using the digital in on the 1880 with the fantom is even better. the effects on the vs machines are very good and gives you lots of options when used with the fantom.
