power
Re: power
I think you should try again, I don't have a clue what you are asking about.

Re: power
An odd question, but I'd say that like most modern electronic instruments it can stay switched on indefinitely, i.e. it won't get hotter and hotter until something burns out. I would have said the component with the shortest life is probably the screen and unless it goes into a 'dormant' mode after a while, with no default screen saver stuff, it will fail first but how long that would take is anyone's guess - and some may fail sooner than others due to vagaries of the production process with such screens.
Is there a cell battery inside the Fantoms like with the XPs? I don't know. If so, that could fail sooner rather than later if the power is left on continuously.
I'm intrigued to know why the poster would want to leave his precious Fantom permanently switched on anyway!
