Re: Resampling and converting question, sound quality
Thank you much Emenelton! I just wish it sounded like what I hear, much more powerful. It is a song about the up's and down's. From the moment you are born, you are dying. Hence the name of the tune. I'm hoping you all can tell me how to make it better

Re: Resampling and converting question, sound quality
turn the bass instrument up a little more during mix down.
fatten up the bottom end after it's in your computer with a little eq
add just enough compression at ratio ~1.5 or 2 to 1 with an attack time of 65 msec, the threshold set to dip just slightly into your peaks, use the compression real sparingly. the compressor will give you a little more headroom so you can turn your master up and get another few decibels of over all volume but it can also ruin your sonics before you know it!.
the eq and compressor described are in your computer after you get a good raw mix out of your fantom,
