Have a few of these ... you may not care.

Seriously, though ... there's two reasons ... you're in sampling mode (where skip-back doesn't happen) or your sample memory is used up (meaning you have the maximum amount of samples loaded into RAM, which is very possible if you haven't expanded your sample memory.

.... there is a third option and that is that somehow you have inadvertently disabled skip back sampling. You can check this through the menu->system->sampling->skip back time option.

Best Regards
Paul.

Diametro,

That is indeed what happened last time, HAHA! Tho it was southern comfort and I did not care at all. However, I am back, but as you can see I am not using my machine a lot. *sad face*

Thank you paulgee and diametro. I believe it is indeed problem #2.
how do I clear the ram? It's out even when I first start up the machine, I thought ram was just that... ram, meaning temporary?

Goes to check and make sure it isn't problem #3.

Happy Holidays

If you have samples in user and/or card locations that are loading at start up, their size may be large and filling your whole RAM. You can install a DIMM board to upgrade the RAM if you want.

Mr. Artemio aka Temmy aka Da Man around these parts. I'll have you know my goal is to one day master the tweak book. As you can see I have a ways to go!

Regarding said problem: That must be it because I only started having this problem after I got a card and installed it and started saving to it.
