how to control Logic's RECORD with Fantom-S

I've got my Fantom-S as the master and Logic 7 as slave, but i cant figure out how to record my tracks from the Fantom into Logic. I tried pressing record in Logic, then play on the Fantom, but that just started playing Logic without recording. I also tried pressing record in Logic, then starting to record on the Fantom, but that also just played Logic without recording.

If i switch the master/slave config, i dont think my samples will be in time.

any help? thanks.

oh i think i got it.....i made Logic the MMC master, while keeping the Fantom as the MIDI Clock master.
