how to stop the transmission of a midi note on

i've got my Fantom-S as the master, syncing to Logic, where i'm running Kontakt 2 with a Trigger Finger. problem is, the note on message coming from the Fantom os triggering a snare I have on the same note (D1) on the Tirgger Finger. it seems that they are sharing the same midi channel, though i dont need or want to have the fantom transmitting any midi information except the midi clock. can i tell the fantom to not transmit any note messages? any help would be greatly appreciated.
