SYSEX dump of performance data possible?

I wonder if it's possible to send performance data, or patch data via midi (SysEx) into your sequencer to store it there along with your song?

Yeah, you can do that but you need to use the software editor to initiate the dump. Then export the data as a standard midi file to your outboard sequencer.
