Q?

I have hooked up the spare outputs from my desk to the audio ins to record all goings on as skip back sampling.

is there anyway to have mix in but it not going to output?
(this creates a feedback loop)

Yes

goto MENU/SYSTEM/SOUND/
set output to parralel.
route all main outputs to B
route B from the fantom to your Amp/mixer desk

route output from mixer desk to fantom.

SYSTEM/
SOUND
set output to parralel.

exit and
comeback to your performance mixer

You can route from A to B by ressing f6 on the preformace mixer
this will display the routing performance mixer.
you can now route all main outputs from A to B

nope don't have an f6 in the performance mixer
I am using an s88 is that why?

i think you have to be in patch mode or performance mode to access the menu. i don't think you can get the menu in sampling mode. just hit the patch/rhythm button or hit mixer button. once your in patch or performance mode then hit the menu button. once your done setting things up just go back to whatever mode you were in. if you were in sampling mode just go back to that.
