curious about deleting portions of samples while chopping

Post by ldiles_ »

i think on my friend's MC 909, you can chop a sample and delete sections of it all at the same time.

on my Fantom-S , i have to make all the chops, then go into the sample list and find/delete the unnecessary ones (which wont be so bad now that i have found the Fantom File System Optimization page).

is there anything im missing?

I too have a Fantom S. There is an "Auto-chop" function/utility on it. I haven't used it but I saw it being used on the Roland Fantom video demo filmed at NAMM about a year ago.
