fantom s startup?

hello, im trying to get my fantom s to sart up in a normal type of mode. i thought i had done this, but it didnt work. when i boot up there is patches already in the mixer screen and the key range is all screwy. id just like to set every thing blank and the key range normal. thanx for any help....

what you should probably do, is choose a preset performance, tweak it to your liking, and save it in User001 slot.


Or you could do a system reset, but I think that may be overkill.

Go to MENU -> System, scoll to Startup and set the startup mode to PATCH.

thanx for the help. my startup mode is in patch. the preset and sample defaults are both on. is that correct?

I'm thinking on whatever patch, or performance you're starting on, you've changed the keysplits somewhere. That's why your keyranges are all screwed up.

I'm saying go find a performance where the keyranges are right, and save that performance as USER001. that's where your Fantom will start up.

I don't think you can ever start with all the instruments blank. at the least, you can start them all with a piano patch.

but in the patch list, isnt there a "no assign" or something? could you have it start with all tracks like that?

id really like to be able to have no sounds assigned anywhere to begin with.
