Hissy Reverby spike when changing Patches

Hopefully one of you "Pro's" can help me - AND NOT TELL ME I'm Gonna need to get my Motherboard on my X6 replaced.

I play live gigs using my X6.

From Time to time when changing from one patch to another without adjusting any knobs or without changing my EV-5 Expression pedal position, I get this weird spike "noise" that almost sounds like an amp's reverb got bounced around to hard and crashed.

It does not do it all the time, and no specific patch causes it either.

Happens when using scroll wheel or from favorites list - no difference but same noise.

Anyone have any ideas short of a motherboard issue?

Any help would be appreciated
