Hi folks,
Im new to my X8 and am trying to figure out how I can hear a click track...... I have some .SQV songs that I got from someone here on this board and I can load them and play them fine. But I need to be able to hear a click track or it is almost impossible to play along with on another instrument. Some of the songs have "click" assigned to a channel when I scroll thru the mixer channel settings and some dont. But even the ones that have them dont seem to play one. They appear to be set to output 4 but when I hook an amp up to my 4 output i dont hear the click track, and I do have the volume slider up. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
Todd

Re: Help with click track.....
I'd be interested in this answer too. I've been creating my own "click track" on an extra midi channel, using the "B" outs to another amp, then using the headphone out of the extra amp to my drummer so he can have a click track for the couple of songs we do that needs one. There has to be an easier way.

This has been discussed before, with a few ideas tossed about. Check these threads:

Re: Help with click track.....
buy a clickstation. about 100 quid. just connects by midi straight to the sequencer. and it's then no longer your problem! lol
