Re: Mmccurdy dont forget the songs
Sorry, was away!
I sent some more out .. if I missed you send an email to gmmccurdy@hotmail.com and I'll make sure they get to you.
Also a reminder.... some of these songs have sample loops and accoustic guitar samples. Obviously without my samples it will not play so if some songs sound empty that's why. Also, the click we use is on a sample so you will have to reset that to new sound. I'd recommend a metalic click (agogo bell). If it's a rim shot or stick sound it tends to get lost sometimes in the accoustics of a drum kit.
If there is a big enought request I'll look into posting my samples on a site for download.
Some of you asked if I programmed them... yes I did but I program in Cubase SX3 and then export to the Fantom. I used to do this for a living.
I produced CDs for Starsong and my group "Painted Orange" was signed to Starsong along with the Newsboys in 91. Then I produced a project for Forefront records which got me a Dove award nomination for Producer of the Year.... I lost but it was cool to at least be nominated. hehe

Re: Mmccurdy dont forget the songs
mccurdy,
Those wmv clips are great. You guys sound awesome. How long does it take to sequence a song like that? I definitely want to get into doing this but my keyboard is at church so I will have to look into creating this stuff at home and importing it into the fantom like you do. Any pointers in how to go about starting to do this? Hardware/software requirements and such???
The other person in the videos that is playing some kind of piano or keyboard, i could not tell what parts of the music were his.....just wondering............
Thanks so much for your help,
Todd
