i can't lie...i have pro tools....but man..i really love sequencing on my fantom-x..i love making patterns then bringing them in using pattern call

The copy and paste functions along with the mouse make sequencing in pro tools and reason much easier in my opinion, however, compared to other synths, the sequencer is sweet.

I don't think there is anything on the market that makes audio editing easier then Pro Tools.
Once you get the hang of it (which takes some time), you will never use your Fantom sequencer again.

Re: DOES ANYONE THINK THAT SEQUENCEING IN PROTOOLS IS EASIER
I think audio editing is great in pro tools--I'm saving up to get it for my home project studio--but as far as actually sequencing and arranging? I'll stick with my FS sequencer. I've got a good amount of experience with MIDI (I've been working with it since 1999, my freshman year in high school) so I can usually find my way around any situation in the sequencer that I come across...and honestly, I don't see how you would think it's more convoluted than a DAW...I think hitting the "edit" button in sequencer mode to go to the Event Edit/Piano Roll screen is faster than hovering over a menu, only to wait for another menu to appear, only to click and wait for the computer to load it up...lol...

Even if the LE edition is a fraction of the pro, you still are able to take your work to the pro studio and have everything load up just fine. Try doing that with cubase or something else that costs just as much.
When you get to the level of a bigtime studio, you have the luxury of not having to go through yet another learning curve as well. You already know the mechanics of the software and can dive straight into the new features of the better version.
It's a no-brainer if you ask me.
