Reliability of the Fantom X8 Weighted Keys

Hi, as a professional user of my Fantom X8, i intend to do thousands of gigs with it as with my last sturdy Korg SGpro X which done me for 7 years! im loving playing the X8, and was just curious in asking if ANYONE is regularly giggin with theirs? anyone had problems with the keys on it ? keys stop working etc etc

i doubt if i will get probs but thought i`d ask anyway..

Hi Waynester, I've been gigging regularly for about the last 6 months with my X8, with no problems with the keys yet (touch wood). (just the Mainboard/patch-switching problem for me unfortunately) A day never goes past without it getting used,and most stuff I play is fairly light touch stuff, but during gigs it often takes a bit of a bashing. I thought a post saying 'no problems yet' is probably just as valuable as if I'd had probs.... I just hope this continues!... i'll let you know otherwise...

Despite it's weight, and the problems carrying it, the X8 is a lovely instrument to play at a gig I'm sure you'd agree.

Quite agree Rob! i love it, fingers crossed on reliability, though im not gonna worry about it, Roland are normally superb anyway in that department, well they are for me
