attention ..make me forward or backward

to roland support team, give the chance to backward or forward a song by the handy value dial in Fx6 . my frw.. and back.. switches are going to tear at anytime. the fantom s users already have enjoied this facility. please give us it to FANTOM x users. last couple of month i have sequanced around 40 songs. above mentioned switches are disturbing these days. sorry ,artemio ,for repeating this issue again.

Hmmm, but how would scroll throuh a sequence fwd/bwd with a value dial? Except for micro edit mode, I am not sure where this works.

I kind of agree with UPAMANYOO. I often find myself pushing the left/right-buttons to the right of the value dial when what I want is to navigate forward/backward in the song. Not in micro edit, but in "normal" track view mode. But I see that it is difficult to implement otherwise.

Tip: When in the normal sequencer track view, holding shift while pressing cursor left/right will cause the track view to change horizontal scaling factor, or zoom if you like. Allowing you to display more or fewer bars at the same time.

I just discovered it by chance, and is as far as I can tell not documented.

Oooh... another undocumented feature (along with the zooming of text size in the Live Play feature). Artemio, perhaps this could warrant a new page on fantomized.info... undocumented features of the Fantom OS's.

yes, FX's value dial cant be used to scroll through songs in normal mode . it would be handy if this feature is available. beacause my fwd and bwd. switches are going to be teared for my frequent use of these and there is no other option to scroll through the song. i am dying to have this feature. thank u guys for ur kind attention in this issue.

in FS, i go to the "Measures" tab and just scroll the value dial to go the corresponding measure.......i cant believe that FX does not have such a feature...like, i cant even imagine having to press those buttons to navigate....

i only use the SHIFT+FWD and SHIFT+RWD buttons to go to the next or previous Locate point......
