Can get fantom-S to work well with Sonar

Post by Lancer »

It seem it only responds to one Midi Channel.
I got the definition file for the Fantom-S.
I know the keyboard can work with more than 1 channel under a regular midi player.

But it refuses to work correctly in Sonar. Notes will hang it will sometimes stop sending midi data and even the keyboard will almost freeze. Took out midi thru and I can record but I can only use one channel it won't access other instruments.

I looked everywhere for information I see no one answering what I need to know. How to setup the Fantom so it will correctly receive on all channels (I think I got that right looking at the part list all channels are enabled.)
Then in Cakewalk what do I need to set in the options to get it work multitimbral with my Fantom-S

I never had this problem with ANY modules or keyboards I owned in the past. Please give me some pointers.

I've seen many people ask this question and I see no replies ever.
Except one that was trying to get his Fantom respond to multiple channel with a controller...

Mine does respond to multiple channel on a midi player on my computer. But sonar does not want to do this no matter what I try in the options.

Anyone have any idea ??
