Samples on PC card???

I want buy fantom xa, but before that I would like to know something:
if I have samples on PC card (compact flash) do I must always load them into RAM memory or I can use them directly form PC card? I mean, when I power up fantom xa can I imediately play samples from PC card without loading or not?
Is Pc card on fantom xa like flash rom memory or not?

Yes, PC card (actually PC cad adapter + CompactFlash card or SmartMedia) is Flash RAM that is retained with no power needed.

If the "load samples on startup" setting is ON, the Xa will load all your samples on power on so you don't have to do it manually.

Thank you Artemio for you answer, but I didn't be clear in my question- it seems.
I asked can I imediately play samples from PC card WITHOUT LOADING or not?
I have yamaha ex7 with flash ram 2x8 mb and samples from this memory I have no need load in ram memory. Can I use PC card on fantom xa like this 2x8 from yamaha?

You cannot stream samples directly from the card, they have to be loaded in RAM first. But they can be auto-loaded in RAM on startup, as I said.
