Intel Mac compatible librarian?

Post by tuz »

I downloaded the Fantom X librarian from Roland, but it won't open on my Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion. Please tell me there is a UB or Intel version!!!

No, sadly not. The only thing you can do is use something like VMWare 5 or Parallels and put an older version of osx or dare I say it, Windows on your Mac in a separate partition. Thinking of doing it myself.

EDITED
Yep, unfortunately fantom X Librarian is not supported under OS X versions above Snow Leopard (Lion - 10.7 and Mountain Lion - 10.8)

Hi!

Has anybody heard of Roland doing something about this?
I have Midiquest 10 XL, but it doesn´t support the X-series. Weird, I think.
But it might have something to do with the fact that Roland had their own editor.
Hate it when this stuff happens..
I´m waiting for an answer from Soundquest, maybe they will include it in the future.
