copying tracks

i've been having the same problem. When i copy track 1 to track 2
it copies track 1 again....this may be what's happening to you....
do you get a flanger,or phaser sound from track 1 playback?
this shows that the track is playing twice. to confirm this is happening
go to delete in track edit and delete track 2 ...if the phasing or flanging
sound stops than that pretty much shows the track was recorded twice
on track 1....this is a problem i am still trying to get an answer from tech
support.the advice they did give me was:

1. use only seq templates

2.make sure that the track and channel match.

i tried these things, but it still isn't working......this time i'll be at the keyboard when i call them again.

also....when you filled out the dialog box for "coping" did you
leave the destination track location @ " end" ? this puts track @ the
end of song.

more as 1 figure it out......

The only things I can think of that would be messing it up would be that the channels or tracks aren't identified, or you don't have the copy mode on REPLACE
