Hi Guys and Gals
I have a ridiculous problem with my Fantom X6 and X8
I use them both live with various samples, arpeggiators and rhythms running on both for certain songs.
But would you believe it, The metronome on the x6 is out of time with the one on the X8!
How can this be???
The are both version 2.10
They are both set to the same metronome setting apart from the sound
when i play them together, they are in time for the first 3 bars, then on bar 4 you can hear them go out. By bar 14 they are so far apart they are clicking one after the other!!
What do you think is the problem?
What can i do to fix this?
I need to be able to send arpeggios, samples and rhythms from both keyboards for live use.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
J
METRONOME OUT OF SYNC
Re: METRONOME OUT OF SYNC
Hi Jarrod,
Are you linking the two Fantoms together or just pressing the start buttons simultaneously?
If you're linking them have you got one set as the Master & the other as a slave? (see Sync/Temp settings in the OM, p.228). If your Sync Mode is set as SLAVE-MTC make sure you also have MMC Mode set to SLAVE.
Other than checking those settings, I'm really not sure what could be causing them to drift. If all else fails there's always a factory reset.
Let us know if you sort it.
Cheers
Andy

Re: METRONOME OUT OF SYNC
Hi. Thanks for the post.
I'm not linking them via midi, just audio.
I'll try the sync/temp
Thanks
