Hi..is there a way to set D beam so it triggers a vibrato effect on the organ sounds so that the effect swells as it does when you move the controller.
I want to be able to trigger the dbeam and the vibrato comes on AND stays on til I trigger the Dbeam to shut it off.
So far, it only works while my hand is hovering over the dbeam. the moment i take my hand away the vibrato stops. very frustrating..
thanks,
SemiTone
How to set Vibrato effect on Dbeam
Re: How to set Vibrato effect on Dbeam
The D-beam cannot work in on/off (latch) mode, so it will only change the effect when you keep hovering your hand over it.
Re: How to set Vibrato effect on Dbeam
I'm not sure, just because I never use the d-beam, but if you can use it to activate an RPS, then I think you can set a midi msg on one RPS track that activates the vib.
According to what Art has said on his last msg, the D-Beam cannot be used as an on/off latch mode, so I guess RPS triggering would be a problem too.
You should wait for Artemiy or someone who knows a little bit more about it than I am.

SonicMan, you are right that you can use the D-Beam to trigger an RPS pattern and this is the workaround for SemiGTone. In Lazeeboy's 3rd post on this page he explains how to use that to run a series of patterns by setting the D-Beam to trigger a pad and then change the assigned pad.
So, in your case, SemiTone, you would have 2 patterns assigned to say pads 1 and 2. The d-beam would be set to pad 1 which would turn on vibrato and set the d-beam to trigger pad 2. So if you hit the d-beam it would trigger that first pad. Then if you hit the d-beam again it would trigger the RPS pattern on Pad 2 which would turn off the vibrato and set d-beam trigger to Pad 1.
