Performance dual patch

Hi,
This is the first time I've experienced the followoing problem with a perfomance set up. In my XA I have a performance with 8 instruments in each track. Almost finished working on a song when all of a sudden each track has a piano patch attached to it.
For instance the bass patch has piano in it, so does the rest of each instrument, piano in all of them. How do I get rid of this intrussion. Thanks for your help.
