Hi Tiger,

I doubt Artemiy would relese old tweakbooks for free. If you want one, buy it. It's more than worth the money it costs.

Someone asked about this perhaps 6 months or so ago and Artemiy declined at that time to provide the old versions for free. Andy is right that the Tweakbook is worth the cost.

There use to be a link to it. I have the first one but of my system is down.

At least the first one or two, because, It will boost FX users and they WILL want to buy the new expanded version. Just think how many more sounds the community wil produce.

Just a thought, because I am a patch programer, and my speciality are DRUMS that are So Heavy!

I recall that, Tiger Fleetwood. I downloaded 3 when it was free and then bought 4 shortly after that. Despite this, Art said he made a decision some time ago to stop sharing older versions. It isnt expensive though and as Andy said, it is more than worth it.

sorry but what exactly does the tweakbook cover that would be worth the money? I've been using the fantom X since 06 and really learned everything I have about it by trial and error. What all does the tweakbook cover that would be beneficial for me?

Let's put it this way- if you're a sound tweaker, and like creating new patches and sounds, the tweakbook is a great investment.

If you're strictly a music composer (as I am) and are happy with out-of-the-box sounds, you probably won't really have much use for it. I went through it, and while I'll admit it was interesting and useful stuff, I was happy enough with the stock soundset that I could never really got in to tweaking things much. In that case, I would recommend Art's Planet Series sound collections over the tweakbook if you can't afford both.

Fx6kilogram - The very first thread on this forum is this one. You can get the detail Artemiy's post on that thread.

Buzzhawg - Artemiy also posted a list of topics covered in that post. I guess you could see if you know all the things he lists there and in his table of contents. He really has a great way of reviewing these many concepts and gives many examples so you can follow along on your Fantom. You could continue to learn through trial and error though but its only 19 bucks.
