Sampled sounds not sounding as original

I tried to sample some Drum sounds from SPD20 to Fantom X8, but somehow the sampled sounds do not sound exactly like they sound on SPD20.

I tried both the options (Line in and Digital in)

Can somebody give me some tips to ensure that the sound quality of sampled waves remain exactly the same ?

You cant expect to play the recorded patches as it is.. You need to use the filters, effects ..

simply copy any of the Roland's drum kit effect to your recorded patch and play.. should be able to get more punchy sounds
