Can SRX Expansion Boards sounds be tinkered with in the same fashion, using the synth/sampler, as the stock sounds in the Fantom? And still be saved to the Fantom Registry?
This might make a good entry for the FAQ.
SRX Question
Re: SRX Question
Hey Skyy38:
Yes, you can tweak SRX patches right down to the wave form level, then save then as User patches, or Card patches.
My only SRX card is 07, lots of synths, great basses, and I esp. like the hammond B3 samples of fast speed lelsies.

Re: SRX Question
Just remember that the SRX needs to be installed in the Fantom, even if you save the patch as a user/card patch. Otherwise it won't have access to the base waveform.

Re: SRX Question
Can the sampler be used to mold different articulations for instruments on the SRX-06?
Re: SRX Question
You could resample the SRX patch then tweak it.
Or you can Tweak it a lot with the Internal Synth engine.
See Artemio's very execllent Tweak Book.
