Hi all
am learning slowly to do some the various things that My X8 can do, and coming here and asking is usually the best way forward, after trying it myself on the keyboard.
I've just finished a song, and want to burn it to CD. Nothing fancy on it - no audio, so I resampled it, but it filled up my temporary sample memory leaving only 1% free. So, now I have the sample saved in the user memory, and I want to transfer it to card...but when I try to write it there, it starts the process and comes up with the error - sample memory overflow (0r something....).
I presume that the write process requires some free RAM to allow it to complete, even though the sample loads fine from user memory to the temporary area, and the card has loads of free room. I managed to copy one of the preset samples across from the X8 to the card, so it must be a memory thing.
This sampled song is large at 25.8Mb (mono only)
Can anyone suggest a workaround short of installing more sample memory?
Thanks
Moray
sampling limit problem
Re: sampling limit problem
You need to expand your RAM and storage space. More info in the FAQ, entries 1.1 and 1.2: http://rolandclan.info/media/documents/ ... l#section1
