I have multiple patterns recorded. I want them to play in order to form my song: intro-(pattern 1)- verse(pattern 2) and so on?

In SONG MODE
PRESS RECORD 2 TIMES
then press Pth Call

Select the patters in the sequence you want them to play.

If you mean realtime pattern palyback like MC-909 ..etc... you can not do that on Fantoms.. you have to either record pattern calls in sequencer, or assign patterns to keys and pads, and the you can trigger them in real time..

--------------------
Remember that there are only 3 MFX + 1 Reverb + 1 Chorus in Fantom-S/X and you have to share them across 16 parts (patches) in a song.

hi,
i'm kinda going thru the same thing.
i have migrated from the 909 to the fantom.
basically select your performance settings (patches for each channel)
go to song edit, hit pattern button and start recording for each channel selected on the mixer screen.
essentially i have found that you can only call up patterns you have directly recorded within that performance.
on the 909 you could call up any pattern within the box and record a song. if i am wrong someone please correct me as i would be delighted to hear otherwise (a full explanation of how to would be nice too).
cheers
