Is there a way to assign individual performances to the F keys on a Fantom and if so how?

Yes, this is what live performance mode is all about. You press and hold SHIFT + ENTER to get into the edit mode to register your performances, etc (you can store 16 performances per bank, 20 banks). When the time comes to actually play you press and hold SHIFT + PIANO MODE and that puts you into live performance mode. Now your performances are assigned to the F-Keys.
