Hi to all! :)
I plan to use a Fantom G instead of my computer so it's important for me to know if I can midi sequence my external synths and then record them on the audio tracks.
The Sampling and Audio tracks max memory is 1Gb?
I will be able to apply different effects to each audio track?
It's workflow natural or full of menus like on the MV8800?
THANKS A LOOOT!!
Important Fantom G Question
Re: Important Fantom G Question
Welcome to the Roland Clan, Sentokan!
If you are using MFX's on more than two Audio Tracks, some Tracks will have to share a MFX or go without.
This may be important to your workflow: the sequencer does not have a "Solo" option.

You have 2 MFX's (total, for the whole Fantom-G) in Studio Mode. One can be applied per Audio Track.I will be able to apply different effects to each audio track?

I don't know the MV8800, but you can navigate pretty quickly around the Fantom-G. Most screens are 1 or 2 button presses away. I think the most I need are 3 buttons to get anywhere. It's workflow natural or full of menus like on the MV8800?
