Unfortunatly there are issues with the VST and cubase (and some other DAWs if im not mistaken.

I have had it working on windows vista ONCE, but after that nothing else seems to have worked this includes
W7
Wxp
and Mac OS X

Your best bet is to simply run the Fantom Editor outside of cubase and patch to the fantom using midi tracks. Just set to transmitt to indivual channels via the instpector, and make sure you have the fantom in studio mode.

I know this leaves you without Automation on the fantom but for now its all the options we have available.

I know in Pro Tools how I work it is I set up a midi channel and connect in and out of my interface to in and out of my FG. That way I can record midi info and quantize it how I need. Also set up an audio channel and have the input set to the same channel as my FG so when I play back my midi it plays back the patch on the audio channel, therefore when I get it how I want it, I can commit the audio from the midi play back. I'm not sure if Cubase has the option to set up midi channels along with audio, or if you even have an interface.
