Track Mute while sampling?

Post by Coffeebean »

Hey guys,

I need some help, please. Yesterday I tried to sample a "live mix" in studio mode. Therefore I switched to sampling mode "mix" as I use external gear as well and started to play a looped part of a song. The problem is that I was not able to mute on/off the tracks with the pads while sampling. I think I already did that in the past. Maybe it depends on the latest update?

Can someone help?

Thanks,
Coffeebean

I think the easiest thing to do would be to just record your sequence using the part mute etc... and then just play back the sequence while using the in track sampling...
(with your live performance of muting and un muting parts already recorded)

Hi Apex,

Thanks for replying. I fear I don't understand exactly what you mean.

Just to explain it once again. I want to you play a song like on a groovebox (see also Art's video: http://www.youtube.com/user/ArtemiyPavl ... OJR75oEqXY), but I want to record it via sampling. In mix mode it's not possible to mute the tracks (with pads) of the song while sampling. I want to know why and if there's a way to do so.

Any idea?

THANKS!
