My Fantom G7 had an aftertouch problem, where most of the keys required so much pressure that I was afraid to damage the keys.
It took me a few hours to disassemble the keyboard and all keys, and to do a modification to the aftertouchstrip. But finally the aftertouchsensitivity is now equal for all keys.
I'm happy!

Re: aftertouch fixed
Hallo,
What did you just do to the aftertouch strip?
What did you just do to the aftertouch strip?
Re: aftertouch fixed
On my G6, i also need much more to press keys for aftertouch, then on other keyboards.
Maybe G6 have a same problem... hmm...
What exactly did you do?

Re: aftertouch fixed
My Fantom G's aftertouch pressure was unequal over the keys. The lowest keys and highest keys reponded reasonbly to pressure. Most of the other keys responded very badly to a lot of pressure.
The cause of this is probably a partially wornout strip.
I fixed this by moving (shifting) the aftertouch strip by the width of half a key. This way the pressure points of the keys now touch 'fresh' parts of the strip. A better fix would be a new strip ofcourse. But it still would be too heavy.
Now overall it's rather heavy (too heavy for my taste) but now it's at least usable without having to break my fingers or keys.
